Honorary Member Prof. Dr. Hiroshi Honda

In recognition of its long-term commitment to the further development of radiology, the German Radiology Society awards Prof. Dr. med. Hiroshi Honda the honorary membership.

Professor Honda, what is today’s most interesting research project?

The Japan Radiological Society (JRS) started the „Japan Safe Radiology Project“, supported by the National Government. This project is designed to make the Japan Medical Imaging Database to accomplish six programs: “Proper distribution of medical equipment and radiologists”, “Clinical decision support”, “Dose index registry”, “Standardization and Optimization of the imaging biomarker (J-QIBA)”, “Diagnosis report registry”, and “Diagnosis and radiotherapy planning supported by artificial intelligence”. This “Japan Safe” will expand to the nationwide medical data base project.
